How Alexandrite laser treatment works
Alexandrite laser technology directs focused light energy at the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The energy is absorbed by the hair follicle, which helps to reduce further growth in the treated area.
Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are usually recommended to target hair at different stages. Settings are chosen individually, and a consultation helps determine a realistic plan for you.

Consultation & patch testing
A consultation assesses your skin and hair type and confirms suitability. Where recommended, a patch test checks your skin's response before full treatment. We will not promise a fixed number of sessions or a guaranteed outcome.
Preparation & aftercare
Avoid sun exposure, tanning, waxing and plucking for around four weeks before treatment and shave the area the day before. After treatment, avoid sun, heat and friction for 24–48 hours and use SPF. Full guidance is provided at your consultation.
